I woke to Shrimp Fritattas with lemon creme fresh expertly prepared by Jonathan! It’s been such a treat this week to have a Chef on board. Honestly, the restaurants on the islands are spectacular but we’ve preferred to eat on board. Jonathan is a total rockstar!
We took the dinghy over to St. Bart’s at around 9:30 AM and got on our scooters and ATV’s to tour the island. We had a great time, stopped at some nice beaches, stopped for lunch and then got a birds eye view of a more secluded anchorage where we wanted to move the boat for the overnight.
We dropped the scooters off at about 4 PM. Half of us went to the dinghy with a full tank of gas which had been filled at the airport. Half the crew stood out in the rain and calculated how many gallons is equal to 7 liters so the gas/2-cycle oil mixture would be right. The other half had already slid up the hill to enjoy crepes and the best ice cream in the world. Jeanne is a team player with a major dose of jealous. Although she claims that really, she’s not.
That night we had a great dinner aboard – Thom had picked up tuna steaks. Jonathon added pasta and salad. Another great meal!
