Description
Northern Breezes offers Sailing Adventures / Classes in the Saint Martin and surrounding islands. You will have an opportunity to do many different learning adventures as well as sail just for fun while participating at your chosen level.
Week 1: Earn your Basic Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Charter skipper certifications, including “Big Catamaran” Cruising Multihull option, in one week in paradise.
Week 2: Earn your Advanced Coastal Cruising certification, including “Big Catamaran” Cruising Multihull option, in one week in paradise.
Our Destination Adventures specialize in fun, although some of the offshore trips can be quite challenging. We also offer Destination Adventures which require no sailing experience, but welcome your participation. We even have a Sail & Dive option. You can sail as individuals, couples or as a family in which you have the whole boat! All of this in the world’s most perfect winter cruising grounds—Saint Martin.
Students sail aboard 38′–47′ Cruising Catamarans. These are large vessels with two inboard diesels, friendly but powerful systems. They offer unique opportunities because of their size to spread the group and give people their space while the Cruising Catamaran sails flat and fast! These are stable snorkeling, swimming and diving platforms. Almost anyone can be comfortable on a cruising catamaran!
Enjoy a week long adventure sailing through the Caribbean; visit and explore multiple islands on this memory making trip. You'll have an opportunity to spend some time on Saint Martin before and after we return depending upon your flight schedule. We'll hike the Island of Tintamarre (St. Martins State Park only reachable by boat), tour St. Barts on mopeds or just relax on the island, Saba, Statia...etc.
You will return home with a tan, fantastic photos, lifelong memories, and American Sailing Association certification!
