Northern Breezes Sailing School offers you a terrific program with the combination of the finest school and a superb Hunter 310 cabin sailboat located on scenic Lake Pepin in Pepin, WI. Pepin Marina is found one hour southeast of the Twin Cities on Wisconsin Hwy 35—approximately 20 minutes from Redwing or Wabasha, MN.
This is a two- or three-session, 12-hour course taught by Northern Breezes Sailing School instructors certified by the American Sailing Association (ASA). Classes meet Wednesdays and Thursdays for two 6-hour sessions with break, or weekend mornings for three 4-hour sessions. Classes are limited to three students. This small seminar environment provides a great instructor to student ratio for very effective skipper and crew training. Each session starts with a briefing on the day’s lesson, getting underway, sailing exercises and ends with docking and securing the boat.
Each student receives the Coastal Cruising Made Easy textbook, Federal Regulations booklet, class notes and ASA Certification.
